SMS Terms

These SMS Terms describe how Rekt uses SMS messaging, how users opt in, what messages they may receive, and how to opt out. Rekt is operated by Asymmetra Labs LTD, a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands. These SMS Terms are part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. How users opt in

Phone numbers are not collected on rekt.money. SMS opt-in happens exclusively inside the Rekt mobile app at account creation. When you create a Rekt account in the app, you may be prompted to provide a phone number and explicitly check an unchecked consent box agreeing to receive SMS messages from Rekt. The consent language presented in-app describes the message types listed below, message frequency, STOP opt-out, HELP support, and the fact that message and data rates may apply.

SMS consent is not a condition of using the Services. You may use Rekt without opting in to SMS messages.

2. Message types

If you opt in, Rekt may send the following types of SMS messages:

• Account verification codes — one-time passcodes used to verify your identity at sign-in or sensitive actions.
• Security alerts — notifications about new logins, password or recovery changes, and other account-security events.
• Waitlist updates — notifications when you move off the waitlist or become eligible for early access.
• Product updates — notifications about new features, eligibility changes, and important product announcements.
• Account-related notifications — other transactional or relationship messages tied to your account.

3. Frequency

Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on your activity on the Services, security events, and product timelines. Some users may receive only occasional messages; others may receive more frequent messages tied to active use.

4. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Rekt does not charge a fee for SMS messages, but your carrier may.

5. Opting out (STOP)

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any Rekt message. After you reply STOP, Rekt will stop sending SMS messages to that phone number, except for a final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.

6. Help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any Rekt message to receive help instructions. You can also email support@asymmetra.xyz for support.

7. Carrier and delivery disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages depends on the recipient's mobile carrier, network conditions, and device. Rekt cannot guarantee delivery of any individual message and is not responsible for any consequences of failed, delayed, or misdirected SMS messages.

8. Privacy

If you opt in, Rekt uses your phone number only to send the message types listed above. We do not sell or share SMS opt-in consent or phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your phone number with service providers who help us deliver SMS messages (e.g., our SMS gateway provider) under written agreements that limit their use of the data to providing the service. 9. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, the lawful owner or authorized user of the phone number you provide, and located in a jurisdiction where the Services are available. You must not provide a phone number that you do not have authority to use, or that is registered in a restricted jurisdiction described in our Terms of Service.

10. Changes to these SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Services or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of SMS messages after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
