We think the next wave of traders won't have either — and won't want them. So we're building the opposite: a mobile-first, self-custodial app that's simple enough to pick up in a minute and fun enough that you actually want to. Perps. Prediction markets. Live competition. Like a game — except the stakes are real, and you're always in control of your own funds.

Rekt started with a college kid and a dYdX account. In 2019, Liam started trading perps — equal parts fascinated that a little conviction could turn into real, asymmetric upside, and thoroughly, repeatedly rekt while figuring out how any of it actually worked.
Since then he's built at the edges of crypto and payments — and every version of the story kept circling the same gap: trading was powerful, and almost completely unapproachable. Rekt is the fix.
